I was at the show at the Panasonic theatre on Sep 21. The show started off as I hoped, making fun about the things that characterize us as who we are. Unfortunately, that did not last and the show deteriorated to nothing but low-level humour that focussed on sex. As the show progressed this continued to get worst, eventually forcing people to leave from embarrassment, not from the content but from the fact that this is what was being communicated as the sum of our cultural humour. I was disappointed and would not have gone to see such a show if I had an idea that the level of creative content would be lacking to such an extent. Hey, if they can make it with that I wish them the best. I seriously hope they take a step back and have a better look. There are so many funny aspects to being Greek that you don't need to put on a trash show like that.

I was live at the show at the on September 21. I am a greek male who was born here in Canada. I have a strong connection to my Greek heritage. I was very disappointed with the show. The content was way off base, and directed mostly at sexual comments. The level of creativity was childish. I would not recommend the show and am embarrassed that they are representing themselves as Greeks. I truly think that they should start from scratch, at best. I hope others do not get to see the show I saw. These people have obviously not had a Greek childhood. There are so many amazingly funny aspects about being Greek, that you don't need to talk about garbage over and over.

Unfortunately I was at the show at the Panasonic Theatre on Sep 21 and found it lacking in the anticipated humour. Being Canadian born from Greek immigrants, and having spent my childhood groaning the fact that I had to go to Greek School, I was looking forward to an evening of retrospective laughs. Although it started off that way, it very quickly deteriorated to nothing that had to do with being a Greek School Dropout or Greek childhood, and became a forum for these comics to voice their sexual experiences. They received few and far between laughs, justifiably so. I was disappointed with their lack of creativity. They forgot to advertise or warn people of the explicit nature of their show and consequently had people leave, not necessarily from embarrassment, but from shock that these comics completely missed what it means to be Greek.

I can't disagree more with the previous posts. I loved the show in Toronto, and a bunch of us are going to Ottawa to see it again. I think the problem was some of the audience was expecting to see Angelo and Basile's style of comedy, while these guys are younger and better suited to a younger crowd. Some Greeks think all Greeks should be just one way, they have a stick up their asses! This show is funny, I'm Greek to the core and I was howling!
